All Jackson County Students are eligible for the new Emergency Broadband Benefit to assist with their home internet bills.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit opened on May 12th, 2021. All Students in Jackson County are approved for the Community Eligibility Provisions (CEP) in the current school year which makes them eligible for this program. The temporary benefit will provide a discount of up to $50 per month toward broadband service for eligible families and households. Eligible households can also receive a discount of up to $100 for the purchase of a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers. Click this link to download a signed letter from the Superintendent which can be printed and used as a statement of benefits for Jackson County Students. The letter will need to be signed by someone at the school verifying that you are a student. For more info, please visit: fcc.gov/broadbandbenefit or apply at: https://getemergencybroadband.org/
